John Scott
Senior Software Engineer
John began working at Sports
Systems in August of 2003 as the lead developer for a rapidly increasing
number of web applications and services. His experience working with Internet related technologies
and programming languages began in 1995 when he founded alt.coffee, one of New
York City’s first - and now longest running -
Internet cafes. Specializing
in building data-driven web applications using CFML and SQL he has worked
for various Internet based companies over the years including OneCare and
MotherNature.com.
John graduated from the University
of Massachusetts in 1992 with a
BS in Mechanical Engineering and briefly worked as an engineer before
discovering software development. He is currently back in school earning a Master’s degree
in Computer Science at New York University
