2008 Media Accreditation Procedure
Thank you for your interest in Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca.
Reporters and photographers interested in covering any of the five major races in the 2008 season at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca should have their assigning editor apply for media accreditation via this Web site.
Assigning editors can apply for working reporters and photographers on an individual race basis or, if they are assigned to cover all of the events, a season-long hard card.
Please note that season-long (i.e. hard card) credentials are NOT valid for the Red Bull U.S. Grand Prix July 18-20, featuring the MotoGP World Championship. A separate application must be made for this event.
Media credentials are issued only to individuals working specifically on assignment from a primary-source news provider. Credential requests must be submitted by assigning editor. All freelance credential requests must be submitted by the editor of the publication requesting services. No freelance credential request will be accepted otherwise. In some cases, prior coverage may be requested.
SEASON CREDENTIALS
Reporters and photographers assigned to cover the Monterey Festival of Speed (May 16-18), the 35th Rolex Monterey Historic Automobile Races (Aug. 15-17), the Corona AMA Superbike Finale (Sept. 27-28) AND the Monterey Sports Car Championships (Oct. 17-19), should have their assigning editor complete the online application for a season-long "hard card" credential valid for all four of these events. If a reporter or photographer is not covering ALL FOUR events, they should apply for event-specific credentials.
The deadline for 2008 season media credential requests is April 25.
EVENT CREDENTIALS
Reporters and photographers assigned to cover individual races in 2008 at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca should apply for event credentials on an event-by-event basis.
