2008 Media Accreditation
Following is information on all media accreditation for the 2008 Red Bull U.S. Grand Prix, featuring Round 11 of the MotoGP World Championship.

Please note:
- Credential requests must be submitted by assigning editor.
- All freelance credential requests must be submitted by editor of publication requesting services. No freelance credential request will be accepted otherwise.
- No publications distributed free of charge can be accredited.
- Only U.S.-based print media and radio stations apply via this Web site; other media - including television/video and Internet - apply directly to DORNA. Please see specific information below.
- Deadline for completed application is July 1.

The country of publication is the criteria to determine if a media representative is national or international. Therefore, if a Canadian journalist is working for an American magazine, they are considered national and will apply for accreditation to the National Press Officer. Conversely, if an American journalist is working for a Canadian magazine, they are considered international and will apply to the DORNA Communications Department (see contact information below).
Following are required documents for printed media accreditation:
- All journalists and photographers must complete a 2008 Media Pass Application Form for printed media. All columns on the form must be filled in. An electronic version of the form is available on this website.
- A digital photo 260 pixels by 210 pixels in size.
- Letter of assignment from the Chief Editor.
- Original of the last issue of the publication.
- Examples of the publication's 2008 or 2007 coverage of MotoGP.
- All photographers must present clippings showing a minimum of 20 published photos (not necessarily about MotoGP).
Following are documents for radio stations:
- All radio reporters and technicians must complete a 2008 Media Pass Application Form. All columns on the form must be filled in. Incomplete applications will not be considered.
- One photograph (passport size) of the accredited person, or a digital photo (in .bmp format) 260 pixels by 210 pixels in size.
- Letter of assignment from the Chief Editor.
- Coverage of the 2008 or 2007 MotoGP; a tape and a list specifying transmitted programs including date, time and length.
- If any radio station wishes to use any special equipment for their transmissions, then the radio stations must ask Dorna for an authorization at least two months before the event.

Please note there is a restrictive policy of camera access to the circuit both for the exclusivity of TV rights and for security reasons. Due to this fact, any television or production company wanting to enter the circuit during the running of the Red Bull U.S. Grand Prix with their own camera will have to contact the DORNA Media Sales Department directly.

Any website wishing to cover the Red Bull U.S. Grand Prix from Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca shall contact DORNA Media Sales Department directly. Due to the exclusivity of the video rights of MotoGP for broadcast/display on the Internet, websites granted credentials are not allowed to record and/or display any footage from the Red Bull U.S. Grand Prix. This applies not only to track footage, but also to all and any footage taken at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca during the running of the Red Bull U.S. Grand Prix.
