MEDIA INFORMATION
Enclosed is your media organization's credential request form for the 74th AT&T Cotton Bowl Classic. Please complete this form and return to the Cotton Bowl Athletic Association by WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 16, 2009. Please adhere to this deadline. Late requests will be filled only as space is available. Room accommodations at the media hotel also will be in limited supply once the deadline has passed. All media hotel reservations should be made through the CBAA Office. Please read the following information carefully before filing your request. If you have any questions regarding media policies or procedures, please contact Michael Konradi or Charlie Fiss (817-892-4800).

PHOTO CREDENTIALS
Photo credentials grant access to both the sideline and press box. All persons possessing photo credentials must have proper professional equipment and be shooting actual game action. Those with sideline access must remain behind the 12-foot restraining line surrounding the playing field at all times. Persons with sideline access are not permitted within the Team Bench Area (inside the 25-yard lines) at any time. Press Box credentials are not allowed on the sideline.

Persons in violation of the above guidelines must surrender his/her credentials upon request and leave the stadium immediately. Credentials WILL NOT be issued to equipment carriers or "grips" for photographers.

TELEVISION PHOTO POLICY
FOX Sports has exclusive television rights to the 2010 AT&T Cotton Bowl Classic. By agreement, television stations covering the Classic will be LIMITED TO ONE SIDELINE CAMERA. Stations will not be allowed to position several cameras at the stadium. Highlights of game action must be credited "Courtesy of CBAA/FOX Sports."

All persons credentialed agree that any materials taking the form of film, or digital video recordings ("Video Materials") may only be used in connection with a regularly scheduled television newscast aired by the credentialed organization within a seven-day period following the game, and further agree that the use of Video Materials from the game in such newscasts shall not exceed five (5) minutes in length. Representatives shall not transmit any video, audio or photographs in any media while the game is in progress.

FREQUENCY COORDINATION
Any affiliate TV station, video crew, radio station or other media using any transmission device must have clearance through the local Frequency Coordinator of the FCC as designated by the local chapter of the Society of Broadcast Engineers. All information pertaining to frequencies, power levels and antennae characteristics, as well as the location and azimuth of the transmitting signal, must be communicated to the CBAA. Please complete the online Frequency Form and return it to the Cotton Bowl Athletic Association with your credential request. You must fill out a frequency form before you will be given credentials.

PARKING AND BUS SHUTTLE
Parking passes for media covering the 2010 AT&T Cotton Bowl Classic are available. However, the Cotton Bowl Athletic Association strongly urges media to utilize the shuttle bus service provided both prior to and following the due to limited parking at Cowboys Stadium. Buses will depart the Omni Mandalay Hotel at 9:30 a.m. and 10 a.m. After the game, buses and minivans again will be in service to return all media to the hotel headquarters, shuttling until the press box is empty.

SATELLITE TRUCK PARKING
Parking passes are available for satellite and microwave trucks at the stadium. The media parking area for TV live trucks is Blue Lot 7 at the southwest corner of Cowboys Stadium. This area is accessed from Cowboys Way. To determine the best route to Blue Lot 7, please visit www.DallasCowboysMaps.com.

TV STANDUP REPORTERS
Television standup reporters will not be permitted on the sideline during the game. All reporters will be seated inside the press box or in the auxiliary seating area. With five minutes remaining in the game, media will be escorted to the post-game interview room on the Cowboys Stadium event level.

TV POST-GAME COVERAGE
Television stations covering the AT&T Cotton Bowl Classic will be allowed to shoot their own video from the post-game interview area. Risers will be provided to accommodate cameras. A mult-box at line level also will be available for all electronic media wishing to record comments from coaches and featured players in the interview area. Television crews will require normal XLR connectors.

INTERNET MEDIA POLICIES
No online internet service will be allowed "real time" transmission of the AT&T Cotton Bowl. Only contractual rights-fee paying media will be allowed "real time" transmission during the event. "Real Time" is defined as any online media providing live continual play-by-play coverage of an event. Other than the official website of the AT&T Cotton Bowl Classic and each participating institution, only one credential may be assigned to a website that is affiliated with a national media outlet (i.e., network, newspaper, etc.). No other internet provider shall be credentialed for the 2010 Classic.

CONFIRMATION LETTERS
Credential confirmation letters will be e-mailed after final decisions are made on the number and type of credentials that will be granted to your news organization. These letters, along with media information and news conference schedules, will be distributed AFTER THE WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 16, 2009 DEADLINE. If you have not received a confirmation letter by Friday, December 18, 2009, please call Michael Konradi from the CBAA office (817-892-4800).

CREDENTIAL PICKUP
Credentials will not be mailed. Media representatives may claim credentials at the media headquarters beginning at 8:30 a.m., MONDAY, DECEMBER 28. Individuals may claim all credentials issued to his/her media organization. However, party invitations and media gifts MUST be picked up individually. Lost or misplaced credentials will not be replaced. All media credentials remain the property of the Cotton Bowl Athletic Association and must be surrendered upon request.

MEDIA HEADQUARTERS
The Omni Mandalay Hotel at Las Colinas, 221 East Las Colinas Boulevard, Irving, TX 75039.

HOTEL ACCOMMODATIONS
The Cotton Bowl Athletic Association will make all hotel reservations.

You are responsible for your own billing upon checkout of the media headquarters. Room rates at the Omni Mandalay are $95.00 + Tax per night. This rate applies to single and double room accommodations. Should you have the need to cancel or adjust your arrival date, please notify the CBAA Office to prevent your credit card from being billed: 817-892-4800.

TELEPHONES
A number of courtesy telephones are available in the Cowboys Stadium press box for third party, collect and credit card calls only. These phones are available on a first-come, first served basis.

FAX SERVICE
FAX service will be provided at the Omni Mandalay Hotel and in the Cotton Bowl press box. Request forms will be available at the registration desk of the media headquarters and distributed on the day of the game in the press box.

PRESS BOX INTERNET ACCESS
Media seated in the Cowboys Stadium press box will have access to the Internet through a high-speed Ethernet connection. Journalists should supply either an Ethernet network card for a wired connection or a wireless 802.11b card to access the system. Cables with RJ45 connectors will be provided. This service is courtesy of AT&T Data. Representatives will be on duty throughout the day to assist media as needed.

ELECTRONIC DARKROOM
Still photographers have access to an Ethernet darkroom at the stadium. This workroom features a wireless connection and is located on the Cowboys Stadium event level in the east end-zone tunnel. Photojournalists should supply either an Ethernet card for a wired connection or a wireless 802.11b card to access this system. Cables with RJ45 connectors will be provided. AT&T representatives will be on hand to assist as needed. Phone lines also are provided. This service is courtesy of AT&T Data.

GAME TICKETS
A limited number of game tickets may be available to media covering the AT&T Cotton Bowl Classic. Tickets are $100.00 each. Please contact Amy Scott or Kelly Hembree in the CBAA Ticket Office and identify yourself as a media representative: 1-888-792-BOWL or 817-892-BOWL locally. The e-mail address is Amy@attcottonbowl.com. Once again, please identify yourself as a media representative when ordering tickets. Additionally, you must be granted credentials in order to request game tickets.

MEDIA WILL CALL
Credentials not claimed during the week at the media headquarters will be transferred to the Cowboys Stadium the morning of January 2, 2010. Media Will Call is located outside of Gate A on the North side of the stadium and opens at 10 a.m.
