Satellite Truck Parking
Parking passes are available for satellite and microwave trucks at the stadium. However, parking is limited and will be restricted to one credential per television outlet. All trucks will be parked in the Upper South Parking Lot, adjacent to the South Tunnel of Sun Bowl Stadium.
TV Post-Game Coverage
Television stations covering the Hyundai Sun Bowl will be allowed to shoot their own video from the post-game interview area. Risers will be provided to accommodate cameras. A mult-box at line level also will be available for all electronic media wishing to record comments from coaches and featured players in the interview area. Television crews will require normal XLR connectors.
Internet Media
No online internet service will be allowed "real time" transmission of the Hyundai Sun Bowl. Only contractual rights-fee paying media will be allowed "real time" transmission during the event. "Real Time" is defined as any online media providing live continual play-by-play coverage of an event. Other than the official website of the Hyundai Sun Bowl and each participating institution, only one credential may be assigned to a website that is affiliated with a national media outlet (i.e., network, newspaper, etc.). No other internet provider shall be credentialed for the 2011 Hyundai Sun Bowl.
There are two types of credentials to which working media are entitled:
Press Box/Field
Primary access is the field. Media with Press Box/Field credentials are granted access to the press box only as needed for game notes, media guides, phone lines, etc. Grants access to and movement around the entire stadium floor behind the 12-foot restraining line surrounding the playing field and outside the team bench area between the 25-yard lines. Also grants access to photographer mobile office unit outside the south tunnel. Press Box/Field credentials are extended to members of the electronic media and still photographers, and only to those possessing proper professional equipment. Because the area to which this credential grants access is extremely limited, requests for assistants or "grips" will not be honored. Media with Press Box/Field credentials have two choices for lunch: either at the volunteer tent on the east concourse OR at the volunteer area of the south tunnel.
Press Box
Grants access only to the second floor of the press box. Press Box credentials are extended to members of the working print media, radio and television personnel contributing directly to a broadcast effort. Media wishing to access the field for post-game interviews will be escorted from the press box with five minutes remaining in the game. Lunch for media with Press Box credentials will be served from 11 a.m. until the end of the first quarter in the press box.
