The Texas Bowl credential policy is designed to best allocate credentials in order to maximize coverage in a safe, professional working environment. Unfortunately, it is not possible to accommodate all requests.

Credential Policy

Preference will be given to media who cover all the home and away games of the participating teams playing in this year’s game as well as local/regional media who routinely cover events on the Texas Bowl’s year long calendar.

Media that cover all the home games of either of the two schools receive the next priority and then any additional media or other publications that have an interest in covering Bowl Week events or the 2009 Texas Bowl.

The Texas Bowl does not credential freelance reporters or photographers unless they are on specific assignment for a recognized media outlet. All such requests should be made by the appropriate editor or publisher from the media outlet, not the individual reporter or photographer.
