2012 West Coast Conference Basketball Championships Media Credentials
Welcome to the media credentialing site for the 2012 Zappos.com WCC Basketball Championships. The tournament will be held February 29 - March 5 at the Orleans Arena in Las Vegas, NV. NOTICE OF CREDENTIAL USE CONDITIONS
Each individual or entity requesting or using a credential for access to the 2012 Zappos.com WCC Basketball Championships, and his/her/its employers (each signer, user and employer, a “Bearer”), agrees to the following:
This credential is issued for the sole purpose of providing venue access to an individual who has a legitimate working function (media or game management) in connection with the 2012 Zappos.com WCC Basketball Championships contests, events, or activities. This credential is non-transferable, and any unauthorized use of this credential or violation of its terms may subject Bearer and/or the assigning news organization to ejection from the venue, revocation of the credential, denial of access to future West Coast Conference events, prosecution or civil or criminal trespass, and any other remedies available under law.
While within the venue, Bearer shall, at all times, be subject to the direction and/or supervision of the West Coast Conference and its designated agents. The Bearer also agrees to read and follow the media, photo, television, and mini-cam policies set forth by the West Coast Conference. Failure to do so may result in credential revocation.
Unless expressly authorized in writing by the West Coast Conference, the use, distribution, exhibition, reproduction, adaptation, display, performance or publication in any form of any photograph, drawing, account or description of the Event or any excerpt of the foregoing, taken or made by the Bearer or his or her assigning news organization shall be limited to news coverage of the Event by the assigning news organization to which this credential is issued.
All ownership, copyright, and property rights in the Event (including, without limitation, the statistics) and in any telecast, broadcast, transmission or recording thereof shall remain the sole property of the West Coast Conference, unless otherwise conveyed via separate agreement between the West Coast Conference and broadcast partner, and no such rights are conferred or intended to be conferred or created on behalf of any other person or entity by the issuance of this credential.
The Bearer of this credential and his or her employer or assigning news organization:
- assume all risk incident to the performance of services by the Bearer, assume all risk incident to the Bearer’s attendance at the Event and agree to indemnify and hold harmless the West Coast Conference, its member institutions, and their respective affiliates, agents, and employees from and against all liability, loss, damage or expense resulting from or arising out of the Bearer’s presence at the venue, howsoever caused, whether by negligence or otherwise; and
- grant permission to the institution and its designees to utilize without compensation the bearer’s images, likeness and/or voice in any photograph or live or recorded video or audio display or other transmission or reproduction of the Event or in any excerpt thereof.
Application is not a guarantee of receipt of a credential. Access is provided by the West Coast Conference and its designee and may be limited or revoked at any time. For facility entry, photo ID is required and a bag search will be conducted. The West Coast Conference or its designee may at any time revoke this credential and/or any of the rights granted hereunder for any reason under its sole discretion.
