NCAA needed an online solution to combine its intensive, time-critical credential requests for media covering either a particular team as they advance through the tournament or a particular tournament site regardless of the participating teams.

College Football Playoff – Inaugural CFP Championship Game

In its inaugural year, the CFP media operations staff had a challenge. With semifinal games being played just 10 days prior to the national championship, the CFP needed information from potential attendees well before that time in order to plan for – among other things – hotel guarantees at the media center. Sports Systems’ PressPass was a perfect solution.

BNP Paribas Open

Use Case

The BNP Paribas Open in Indian Wells, CA is one of the ATP/WTA Tour’s premier events. After several years of providing manual accreditation services, event managers were looking for a way to eliminate manual paper accreditation forms and to better secure event access and parking.

Key Deliverables:
► Fully online accreditation process complete with automated emails via PressPass
► Eliminating countless manual staff hours by providing complete, system-generated accreditation forms via simple export from the PressPass accreditation system

Los Angeles Rams

Use Case

With the Rams’ return to Los Angeles prior to the 2016 season, the club’s communications staff correctly anticipated a tremendous increase in media credential requests and looked for a more efficient way for media to request season and single-game credentials and improve communications with automated and customized emails with up-to-date media information regarding credential pick up and media parking.

Key Deliverables:
► Provided Rams Communications staff with a custom online media credential request system, complete with agreement of NFL credential terms and conditions.
► Eliminated tedious and time-consuming manual email responses for confirming and approving media credential, press box seat and parking requests for Rams home games.
► Provided Rams with a season credential request system and systems for each individual home game. Individual game systems pull in all approved media from the season system to give communications staff a complete database of media covering a particular game, ability to filter reports and export them to Excel to
► In 2017, Rams will have a complete database of approval decisions made this season for organizations and/or individuals with a one click, eliminating the need to remember or look up previous approval decisions.
